Coconut Flour is a naturally gluten free, easily substituted, alternative for regular wheat flour with the added benefit of an impressive nutritional profile making it a popular favourite amongst health conscious bakers! Pro-tip – it’s best to use a ratio of 1:4 when substituting for wheat flour as coconut flour absorbs more liquid – but not as quickly – it may take a few extra minutes for the desired consistency to take shape so patience is key! Offering a mildly sweet & nutty flavour profile it’s best alongside ingredients such as banana & cocoa.
